WJA Plans Annual Jewelry Night Out for Sept. 18

The Women's Jewelry Association (WJA) will host its second annual WJA Jewelry Night Out on Thursday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. local time in 15 U.S. cities as well as in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair, Rapaport reported. Event attendees will include people from all facets of the industry, such as designers, retailers, editors, marketers, appraisers, manufacturers and members of industry organizations.
Andrea Hansen, WJA's president, said, "Jewelry Night Out was designed as a special evening for current and prospective members to join together in doing what WJA does best: celebrate, unite and network. The Hong Kong event marks the international spread of Jewelry Night Out and the mobilization of many of our international members based there to form a new international WJA chapter."
This event's lead international sponsor is Signet Jewelers. Tryna Kochanek, Signet's senior vice president for U.S. field operations, said, "We encourage members of WJA and 'soon to be' members from all industry categories to join us in attending this now-international celebration."
In order to encourage WJA membership, Jewelry Night Out attendees can apply for or renew WJA membership at a one-time discounted rate of $99.
