International Diamond Week to stage 325 Israeli diamond firms

13 august 2014

International diamond buyers attending the International Diamond Week (IDW) to be held September 1-4 at the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) will have a choice of 325 Israel diamond companies with whom to do business on the IDE trading floor. "We have finalized the list of participating IDE members," Moti Besser, the IDE's general manager, said. "We will, however, continue to register visiting diamond buyers, and since the number of free hotel rooms offered is dwindling, we urge interested buyers to register quickly."
The diamond sales event is a joint effort of the western world's three largest diamond bourses: the IDE, the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC) and the Antwerp Diamond Bourse.  "The numbers of participating members of the DDC and the Antwerp Diamond Bourse continue to grow, and therefore this may well be the largest Diamond Week we have held since the first edition in early 2013," IDE President Shmuel Schnitzer noted.
The September event will also feature an exclusive polished diamond auction by the Rapaport Group.
