GGJF to be an annual event at Dubai

The Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India has decided to make the Global Gems & Jewellery Fair (GGJF) which concluded in Dubai recently, to a regular annual event. The 3- day Jewellery Fair was organised by the GJEPC and the Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre (DMCC) for the first time this year.
Vipul Shah, chairman, GJEPC said, "The GGJF has received an astounding response fr om the buyers in Dubai and elsewh ere. We have succeeded in creating a niche market for the Indian diamonds and jewellery in the Middle East. The event will be held every year."
More than 130 exhibitors from across India participated in GGJF- the premier 'by-invitation' only international trade fair, which attracted over 600 sel ect buyers fr om across the globe.
