Come March this year and all roads will lead to Dubai for the first ever Global Gem & Jewellery Fair (GGJF) – a joint initiative of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre(DMCC), supported by Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG). The Fair will take place at the prestigious hotel resort Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, from 20 – 22 March 2014.
The main objective of this Fair is to create an effective business platform to cater to the enormous requirements of Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Russian & CIS region. In addition to establishing India as one of the most favourable destination for sourcing by the jewellers and consumers from the TG countries, this Fair will establish Dubai as the global trading hub for gems and jewellery by building the infrastructure required for industry participants to trade with confidence.
International buyers and sellers will trade top quality gems and couture jewellery over the three -day event. Strong global commercial links and positioning among the top three diamond trading centres in the world - some US$40 billion passes through DMCC’s Dubai Diamond Exchange - makes Dubai a natural host city.
