Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair Blossomed Out Again

The fifth edition of Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair scheduled on 26-28 January 2014 in Antwerp concluded with success as expected.
Similar to the previous editions, retailers from Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America visiting the exclusive event available by nontransferable invitation only, had the opportunity to procure wide range of polished diamonds at competitive prices.
About 90 diamond firms unveiled their diamond production at the fair sponsored by Antwerp World Diamond Centre and hosted by the three venues - the halls of the Diamond Bourse (Beurs voor Diamanthandel), the Antwerp Diamond Club and Antwerp Diamond Kring.
As Rough&Polished were reported at Deco Consult, an organizer of the event, this year Antwerp fair saw record visitors traffic – about one thousand clients.
The next edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair is scheduled from 25 till 27 January, 2015.
Antwerp now accounts for 80% of sales of rough diamonds and over 50% of polished diamond sales. Diamond business directly and indirectly provides income to 34 thousand inhabitants of Antwerp.
