Global experts in fashion and jewelry industry are busy with preparing ratings of the most stylish Hollywood stars. The celebrities’ competition on the red carpet is finished - the best movies and actors of 2013 were selected at the 71st ceremony of "Golden Globe" recently took place in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton.
What is more important - to get an award or to receive thousands of comments about your style? The main objective of each actor is appearance at the red carpet in all their glory. A few months before the awarding ceremony each participant embarks on preparation of his magnificent and unique image. At this point, many famous jewelry brands are coming to closer collaboration with celebrities in search of the most successful contract for demonstration of jewelry masterpieces.
Some jewelry items receive prominence following successful presentation at the red carpet, and celebrities receive considerable remuneration for showing jewelry.
Despite the fact that this year the actresses tried to show more reserved  style in dresses by Dior, Ralph Lauren, Elie Saab, Armani, Gucci, Carolina Herrera and Valentino, their jewelry ornaments would hardly be called modest.
According to the “People”, the most expensive jewelry at the recent ceremony included earrings and ring by Lorraine Schwartz, worn by beauty Sofia Vergara. Meanwhile a necklace by Harry Winston, valued at $5.8 million was worn by Jessica Alba.
Among the most dazzling jewelry items unveiled at the "Golden Globe" experts selected Van Cleef & Arpels ‘Snowflake’ earrings and ring worn by Margot Robbie, exclusive Bulgari jewelry worn by Jessica Chastain and Naomi Watts, Cartier jewelry worn by Allison Williams,  Chopard jewelry worn by Cate Blanchett and Kate Beckinsale.
Lupita Nyong'o showed the splendor of large polished diamonds by Fred Leighton and Olivia Wilde demonstrated 4.9-carat diamond earrings and 8-carat diamond bracelet by Forevermark.
Jennifer Lawrence (the winner of the Best Supporting Actress) was wearing earrings and 4 bracelets of white-and-black diamonds by Neil Lane with platinum ring with diamonds worth a total of $2.5 million.
Trends in the fashion and jewelry are usually set at ceremonies on the red carpet, and abundance of luxury jewelry highlights commitment of Hollywood to the sparkling crystals – large and clear diamonds.
