The Promise of Forevermark

24 october 2012

The diamond brand Forevermark has presented exhibition “The Forevermark Promise” – a collection of pledges and exceptional diamond pieces from some of today’s most prodigious design talent.
Forevermark Promise collection is a global exhibition, where Forevermark invited 7 leading designers of the world include Reena Ahluwalia, Shaun Leane, Rachel Roy, Stephen Webster, Biren Vaidya и Tang Wei.
Comprising pieces from the U.K., the U.S., China, Hong Kong and India, the exhibition is diverse in design styles, comprising delicate, romantic notions through to more challenging and progressive concepts from both global, and national talents, together. The theme of Promise, however, is resonant throughout, inspiring any visitor to re-examine the importance of promises in their lives. Each Forevermark diamond is inscribed with a promise that it is beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced.
The exclusive show in Mumbai was launched together with Vogue India, with an exclusive invited crowd of 450-500 elite of India. The most popular piece was the diamond necklace "Eternity" in white gold with 85 carats of diamonds done by Canadian designer Reena Ahluwalia. "I promise you my love for as long as there are stars in the sky," positioned talented designer her inspiration to create jewelry masterpiece.
Forevermark is a separately managed division within the De Beers Group of companies.  The division’s main mission is to build and develop the Forevermark diamond brand.  Forevermark also holds responsibility within the De Beers group of companies for driving diamond demand in key markets and maintaining consumer confidence in diamonds. Forevermark diamonds are carefully selected and come from sources committed to the highest standards; are beautifully crafted by a select group of diamantaires; and are exclusively available in select jewellers.
I asked Reena Ahluwalia, is Forevermark can change people's attitudes to diamonds as to great values?
She said: “Diamonds are markers of the most important occasions in people's lives and an eternal symbol of love. As a designer, I find myself in a great position to make a difference through my commitment to working with environmentally conscious and responsible sourced diamonds."
The collection exhibition has already been to Beijing, Hong Kong and India. It will be traveling to other regions such as US and Japan in the near future.
The full collection of exhibition pieces and promises can be seen on, where Forevermark invites everyone to join thousands of others by making and sharing a promise.
What markets will be most in demand for diamond jewelry Forevermark, in the short term it is the Asian market, it confirmed, it is already working. But the goal of the brand is to win the world, well let's see.
