Retailer Genesis Diamonds has expanded into three markets since opening in 2005 and is making plans to open a fourth store in the coming year, Rapaport reports. Revenue has increased substantially, from $3 million in the first eight months of operations to an anticipated $40 million in sales this year, according to the company.
Store owner Boaz Ramon stated that their philosophy is  aligned with cultivating a loyal customer following that drives future business growth. Diamond engagement rings are a work of art and that purchase represents a long-term milestone, he explained.
''This diamond ring is one person saying ‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you’ to the other. We know that this is a huge decision and purchase for our customers, and we treat it as such,'' Ramon said.
Genesis Diamonds offers an upgrade program where customers are credited 110 percent of the cost of their current diamond that is used toward the purchase of a more expensive diamond.
Genesis Diamonds is located in Nashville and Brentwood, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky.
