Most Expected U.S. Jewellery Show of the Year Kicked Off in Las Vegas

04 june 2012

Last Friday, on June, 1, 2012, Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas hosted grand opening of four-day exhibition JCK Las Vegas, the largest jewellery show in the USA.
Prior to the official opening of JCK Las Vegas, The LUXURY preview event was organized, featuring over 230 exhibitors, and attended by over 700 invited retailer store and invited members of the press, an impressive attendance for the show's 2nd year at the Mandalay Bay location.
Polled exhibitors were pleased with the show's luxury environment and the results from the 3-day preview event. Some buyers were showing their interest and proceeded with placing orders right at the preview event, without having seen the rest of production to be featured at the four-days show.
On attendance and perceived business taking place at the event, Ashu Malpani of Dynamic International explained "The show has been excellent. We've had nice, professional and serious buyers who were coming to look for something different. We've gotten great exposure for our collection."
John Tierney, LUXURY's Event Director, noted "We are thrilled with how the first three days have gone and feel that we met our goals of providing the utmost in services to the top-tier retailers in our industry. And the exhibitors certainly did their part by bringing their A-game; the product is absolutely extraordinary. Now it's on to the larger show and we are excited to welcome all JCK Las Vegas badge holders to experience a taste of LUXURY."
Judging by parking of Mandalay Bay, which was packed to capacity at 8.30 a.m. on before the opening of JCK, there is likely to be great visitors’ traffic during the show.
