JCK is upbeat about upcoming JCK Show in Las Vegas

Organizers of the US largest jewellery show – JCK Show slated in Las Vegas from 31 May till 4 June, are quite optimistic in respect of its success.
“We're really hoping that it's going to be big. As everyone knows, the economy is coming back, but slowly, but the indicators are good, consumer confidence is up, people are feeling that the economy is coming back,” - Mark Smelzer, Publisher of JCK magazine, told Rough&Polished.
Smelzer noted that “it's a big questions mark right now as to whether or not buyers are going to be ready to really buy in Las Vegas.” However he expressed confidence in successful results of the fair. “We've been hearing at shows like the Smart show in Chicago, Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and other shows earlier this year, that people are shopping at the shows and getting ready to buy in Las Vegas.”
JCK magazine Publisher told Rough&Polished, that among entertainment events organized within the scope of the show was original online video series called JCK Rock Star that JCK have done in partnership with Swarovski gems.
“It's a design contest with five designers, each produced the piece of jewelry in the 6-week time period and presented it to the judges, each had their own episode where they are presenting their jewelry. The final episode is going to air on the hotel rooms and we're going to have a big reveal on Friday, 1 June, 2012, of who won JCK Rock Star.”
Upcoming JCK jewelry show in Las Vegas is the largest jewelry industry trade show in the U.S.
