Gokhran will host auction of special sized rough diamonds

On 20 March, 2012 Russia’s Ministry of Finance will conduct open auction of large-sized diamonds weighing 10.8 carats and more at the location of Gokhran of Russia, according to official notification released at Gokhran’s website.
Applications for participation in the auction can be submitted to Auction committee till 2 March, 2012.
Rossijskaya Gazeta reports that Gokhran intends to put for sale 556 diamonds weighing a total of 12,595 carats.
Only Russian diamond processing companies are entitled to apply for participation in the auction subject to properly executed documentation, payment of a deposit of 30,000 rubles and timely application.
Russian companies admitted to take part in the auction will be invited to display of the goods available for sale at specially agreed time.
