Leviev denied information of the planned sale of Moscow Jewelry Factory

Lev Leviev is not planning to sell Moscow Jewelry Factory within the debt restructuring procedure, Ruiz Group, responsible for Leviev’s jewelry and diamond segment in Russia, reported in a statement.
“Ruiz Group in general and Moscow Jewelry Factory in particular are private business owned by Lev Leviev and not related to Israeli Africa-Israel. Moscow Jewelry Factory is not subject to any mortgage or other impairments being to some extent an independent asset. Ruiz Group and its divisions do not participate in any negotiations related to Africa-Israel's debt restructuring,” – according to the statement released on Friday.
“Lev Leviev is not selling and neither planning to sell Moscow Jewelry Factory.”
“More over, we are planning to scale up production, expand marketing network and present innovative jewelry collection in Russia,” – Ruiz Head Valery Morozov said.
