The China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair concluded successfully in Guangzhou

The 6th China International Gold, Jewellery & Gem Fair – Guangzhou concluded succesfully on 12 May 2009. This year 150 exhibitors from the following 14 countries and regions participated in the Fair: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Poland, Sri Lanka, Tahiti, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States. Apart from glamorous finished jewellery, a wide range of raw materials, including diamonds, gemstones, pearls, jade and jadeite, semiprecious stones, synthetic stones and cubic zirconia was exhibited.
Series of technical seminars presented by several industry experts were also hold at the Fair:
1)      “Smart Sourcing 123” by the Guangdong Provincial Gem & Precious Metal Testing Centre
2)      “Grading and Analysis of Colored Gemstones” by the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA)
3)      “All about Gems: Diamond, Coloured Gemstones and Jadeite” by the Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of Guangdong Province
To celebrate Mother’s Day on 10 May, the Fair was open to the jewellery trade and public during the whole fair period.
