The annual Hong Kong International Jewelry Show will open on March the fourth, the China View portal informs. The results of the tenth Hong Kong Jewelry Design Competition will be announced at the fair.

The Hong Kong International Jewelry Show is one of the top three trade fairs in the industry and is expected to attract 23-hundred jewelry brands from around the world. Fourteen exhibition halls divided by region and eight halls designated for chambers of commerce have been set up. During the five day event, a jewelry design maestro forum will be held, and an international prize for jewelry design will be issued.

The coming jewelry fair will be unusual in its Israeli aspect since there will be over sixty diamond manufacturers and exporters from Israel, the reports. More than forty Israeli companies will exhibit their products at the Israeli Diamond Hall set up by the Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies.

The unprecedented number of Israeli companies is a proof of the enormous interest taken by the Israeli diamond industry in expanding its business to the Asian markets.

The mini-site which can be entered from the portal of the Israel Diamond Institute offers prospective buyers an opportunity to visit the Israeli Hall online before the fair. The mini-site contains matter-of-fact information about all the Israeli companies taking part in the exhibition as well as a map showing their location.
