Jacob & Co. Opens in Dubai

BinHendi Enterprises has opened a Jacob & Co. jewelry boutique in the Dubai Mall, RAPAPORT reported. BinHendi is a longtime regional partner of Jacob & Co. dating back to 2003. Denise Scala, Jacob & Co.'s director of marketing, called the store opening a milestone. "Our newest boutique will enable us to better serve our loyal clients in Dubai and throughout the Middle East. It will also help strengthen our overall brand presence in this essential market," she said.
The 180-square-meter (1,938-square-foot) jewelry store has a similar design to that of Jacob & Co.'s New York flagship, incorporating a high-tech interior design, private consultation rooms and a VIP Lounge. Haissam Chamsine, senior vice president of watches and jewelry for BinHendi, said, "We are proud to open the first Jacob & Co. mono-brand, which is the first in the Middle East and the second worldwide. It gives me great pleasure to announce our future plans to open the second Jacob & Co. mono-brand in the Middle East in Kuwait in [the] 360 Degrees [mall development]. This activity could only have happened thanks to our strong relationship with the brand. We look forward to opening additional stores in the region."
