Organizers announce ‘2019 Guangzhou Panyu International Jewellery Week’ in November

The Gems & Jewellery Trade Association of China, Guangzhou Diamond Exchange, Guangdong Gems & Jade Exchange, and Guangzhou Panyu Jewellery Manufacturers Association jointly announced the ‘ 2019 Guangzhou Panyu International Jewellery Week’ at a press conference at Panyu.
This event, jointly organized by Gems & Jewellery Trade Association of China, Guangzhou Diamond Exchange, Guangdong Gems & Jade Exchange, and Guangzhou Panyu Jewellery Manufacturers Association, was attended by leaders from various government departments of Panyu District and principal industry associations as Guangdong Gold Association, Guangzhou Panyu Daluotang Jewellery Association, etc. 
The 2019 Guangzhou Panyu International Jewellery Week will be held from 21st -25th November, during which the 4th International Jewellery & Diamond Conference (Guangzhou), the 3rd Asia Jadeite Focus Forum, and the 6th Panyu Jewellery Cultural Festival will be staged.
Speaking at the press conference, Liang Weizhang, General Manager of Guangzhou Diamond Exchange, introduced highlights of the 4th International Jewellery & Diamond Conference (Guangzhou), which is based on the theme, “Jewellery and Diamond, Glitter in the Greater Bay Area”. The Conference will host multiple special fora from 21st-22nd November, inviting industry delegates from Belgium, Columbia, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Brazil, DRC, Russia, Ukraine and other countries along the Belt and Road, the Greater Bay Area and other regions in China. 
 Also, organizations such as Gems & Jewellery Trade Association of China, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Antwerp World Diamond Centre, HRD Antwerp, Federacion Nacional De Esmeraldas De Colombia and International Colored Gemstone Association are being invited to share latest news and development trend of diamond and coloured gemstone industries, and to discuss on topics as technology innovation, upgrade of rough diamond industry, innovation of craft and sales channels, and commercial application of lab-grown diamonds, etc. The Conference aims to promote communication and cooperation between jewellery & diamond industry in the Greater Bay Area and at home and abroad.
 In addition, the 1st Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area International Jewellery and Diamond Festival will be held from 21st-24th November during the conference, making full use of policy advantages of bonded exhibition and trade through Nansha Free Trade Zone, to bridge high-quality jewellery supply from Hongkong, Macao, overseas and huge potential demand in domestic consumer market.
 Ouyang Yongjun, director of Guangdong Institute of Diamond, Jade & Jewellery, introduced highlights of the 3rd Asia Jadeite Focus Forum. Jointly organized by Gems & Jewellery Trade Association of China, Guangdong Gems & Jade Exchange, Guangdong Institute of Diamond, Jade & Jewellery and Myanmar National Jewellery Association, the Focus Forum will be held on 22nd November in Panyu, Guangzhou and will invite representatives of Myanmar to share the latest interpretation of Jadeite rough supply trend. Experts and elites from Beijing, Guangzhou, Pingzhou, Sihui, Jieyang will also be invited to communicate regional cooperation of Jadeite industry, to discuss the inheritance of Jade carving and craftsman’s spirit, and to explore further development of Jadeite industry.
Wu Wei, Chairman of Guangzhou Panyu Jewellery Manufacturers Association, introduced highlights of the 6th Panyu Jewellery Cultural Festival, which is consist of a series of events including the opening ceremony, the 9+2 Greater Bay Area Forum and Gala Dinner, the Networking event of jewellery wholesalers and distributors all over China, the Panyu Designer Gallery, and events held in various exhibition centers in Daluotang Jewellery Town, Shawan Jewellery Industrial Park, and Worldmart Plaza. The Guangzhou Panyu International Jewellery Week has developed into a great annual event in China during the past years. Through organizing diversified activities, the 2019 Jewellery Week will gather more resources in the Greater Bay Area and further enhance cultural exchange and trade collaboration of the jewellery industry in the Greater Bay Area and abroad.
