news_19092018_ja.pngJewelers of America (JA), the national trade association for businesses serving the fine jewelry marketplace, and the GEM Awards committee has announced the GEM Award nominees in the categories of Jewelry Design, Media Excellence and Retail Innovation. 
The winners in these categories will be announced live during the 18th Annual GEM Awards on Friday, January 10 in New York. 
GEM Awards honors individuals and brands whose work raises the visibility and status of fine jewelry and watches. 
The GEM Award for jewelry design nominees: Ana Khouri, Nikos Koulis, Carlo Traglio.
The GEM award for media excellence nominees: Anthony DeMarco, a writer and editor in the luxury jewelry and watch industry, Rachel Garrahan, jewelry and watch director at British Vogue, Tanya Dukes, writer and stylist specializing in fine jewelry. 
The GEM award for retail excellence nominees: Foundrae, HODINKEE Shop and TWIST.
