According to the report , while speaking at the September Fair Media Gathering, Informa Markets Director of Jewellery Fairs Celine Lau also reiterated the organiser’s commitment in delivering the ultimate business platform to the jewellery community.
Lawrence Ma, founding president of the Diamond Federation of Hong Kong, China Ltd, said the September Fair remains an important occasion for buyers and sellers to meet despite challenging conditions.
Sze Ho Yin, president of the Hong Kong Pearl Association, meanwhile called for stronger partnerships among trade associations in seeking government support to the gem and jewellery sector.
Ken Lo, chairman of the Hong Kong Jewellery and Jade Manufacturers Association, also underscored potential business opportunities in Southeast Asia amid difficulties arising from the US-China trade row.
