ADPA to discuss establishment of African Diamond Exchange

The 6th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) is underway in Windhoek, Namibia where a proposal for the creation of the African Diamond Exchange will be considered, according to a news report.
The meeting will also analyse the declaration on the proposal for a new definition of conflict diamonds, ADPA declaration on synthetic diamonds, and the association’s budget for the period of June 2019 to June 2020. 
The meeting is further expected to discuss the report on the activities of the organisation's executive secretariat for the past two years, schedule of activities for 2019-2020, and financial report of the association’s financial year 2017.
