This square shaped, fancy Intense pinkish orange type IIa diamond weighed 5.01 ct and is claimed to be the largest pink synthetic stone in the world. The color was distributed evenly throughout. The stone is believed not to be treated by HPHT annealing after its growth for color improvement, said GIA.
“The combination of size, color, and clarity made this the most remarkable CVD synthetic diamond GIA has tested so far,” GIA noted.
