GJEPC-De Beers diamond promotion campaign receives good response in India

As the Town Hall meeting drive to enroll retail jewellers from across the country for the Mega Diamond Promotion campaign being launched in India by GJEPC-De Beers entered its second week, the response has been extremely good, with more than 750 of the country’s leading jewellery retailers signing up as participants, says a gjepc.org report.
Representatives of GJEPC-De Beers are currently on Road Shows across the country explaining the details of the proposed campaign to retail jewellers in 30 key cities. Last week, the two partners addressed meetings in Chennai, Mumbai, Indore, Lucknow, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad and Surat while this week the meetings will be held in Bengaluru, Hyderabad on October 12 and 13, followed by other cities.
This year GJEPC-De Beers have come together to launch the first ever generic diamond promotion campaign in India in over a decade. The two have planned a $7.5 mn media blitz across print, electronic and social media channels which will run from early October to the end of December. India will celebrate important festivals such as Dusshera, Karva Chauth, Dhanteras, Diwali, Christmas and New Year during this period.
