MIJF 2016 scheduled for January 15

The Spring Edition 2016 of the Malaysia International Jewellery Fair (MIJF) will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from January 15-18, 2016. According to the organisers Elite Expo Sdn Bhd, the theme of this year’s edition is “Sapphire: The Allegory of Spring”.
The MIJF, which has been held annually since 2004, will have over 120 exhibitors from more than 10 countries this year. Over 11,000 visitors are expected to attend the fair.
The fair is supported by Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Hong Kong Jewellery and Jade Manufacturers Association and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation.
The highlights of the show include a Fashion Show that will showcase some of the latest jewellery that will be on display; as well as a series of programmes around sapphires, particularly The Grandeur of Sapphire galleria, featuring exquisite and signature collections of the gemstone.
