Luk Fook opens second boutique in Canada

Luk Fook Holdings (International) Ltd has opened its second retail store in Toronto, Canada, located at Markville Shopping Centre in Markham.
Covering an area of more than 2,600 square feet, Lukfook’s boutique in Markville is the company’s first overseas shop that comes with VIP and wedding zones. “The group hopes to enhance its global exposure and strengthen its penetration into the international jewellery market by opening retail shops overseas,” added Lukfook. The group currently has more than 1,400 shops in eight countries and regions.
Wong Wai Sheung, chairman and CEO of Lukfook, commented, “Adhering to our corporate vision of ‘Brand of Hong Kong, Sparkling the World,’ the group strives to expand our global retail network. With the opening of the new shop in Toronto, the group will continue to provide Toronto and global customers with high-quality jewellery products and professional services to further establish our reputation in the international market.”
The group entered the North American market in 2003 when it established its first shop in Canada. According to Lukfook, Toronto is the largest city and financial centre of Canada, with more than 530,000 Chinese living mainly in Markville and its neighbouring Richmond Hill.
