Operations
Namakwa Diamonds has a diversified portfolio of diamond projects, which include five distinct diamond resource target areas, located in four African countries: South Africa, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Namibia and Angola.
Development Prospects
The interests of the Namakwa Group in Namibia are centered on the Tidal project, which is situated north of the port of Luderitz and consists of mining and exclusive prospecting rights that offer development and growth opportunities for Namakwa. The Tidal project is focused on the exploration and prospecting of marine deposits.
The interests of the Namakwa Group in the DRC are centered on the Tshikapa concession. The project area of The Tshikapa concession is divided into four separate divisions by the Kasai, Tshikapa, Longitshimo and Lumbembe rivers.
The interests of the Namakwa Group in Angola consist of two potential development projects, namely Tchipoia and Caungula.
Diamond Mining
Namakwa's mining assets in South Africa encompass assets that are in full mining production and those that present the opportunity for future development. The North West Province Project Area, which includes seven geographic nodes in the Schweizer Reneke-Bloemhof region, encapsulating Namakwa's four, fully functional mining operations and development sites and an area known as Pypklip in the Lichtenburg region, which provides Namakwa with a future growth opportunity.
