Kournev Vasily Tarasovich occupies position of OJSC«ALROSA- Nurba», general director çàíèìàåò ïîñò ãåíåðàëüíîãî äèðåêòîðà ÎÀÎ «ALROSA- Nurba», major associated enterprise of JSC «ALROSA», established for developing dimond deposits of Nakyn blue earth – kimberlites «Botoubinskaya» and «Nurbinskaya». He has replaced Valery Kolodeznikov on this position.

Kournev V.Ò. was born in 1957 in town of Orto-Nakhar in Lensky region of RS(Ya).
In 1984 he graduated from Yakutsk State University after Ì.Ê. Ammosov, majoring in «geological survey, search and exploration of mineral deposits».
In 1997 graduated from Yakutsk State University after Ì.Ê. Ammosov, majoring in «Ïîäçåìíàÿ Subterranean developing of mineral deposits.»
In 2003 – got speciality «Management of economics» in the Academy of national economics under the Government of RF.

Labour activity:
Since 1984-1993 – open-cut mine «Udachny», artificer in mining equipment repair, geologist of EB site, chief geologist of the open-cut mine.
Since 1993-1999 – chief geologist of Udachnynsky MPE.
Since 1999-2004 – chief of processing geology section in JSC ÀÊ «ALROSA» (CJSC).
Since 2004-2007 – chief engineer of Anabarsky MPE.
In 2007 – director of Anabarsky MPE.
Since 2007-2008 – director of minefield «Ebelyakh» OJSC «Almazy Anabara».

Since 2008 till now – general director of OJSC «ALROSA-NURBA».
