Fyodor Andreev

Fyodor Andreev currently holds the position President of AK ALROSA.

Mr. Fyodor B. Andreev was born in Voronezh on August 16, 1966. He is a graduate of Leningrad State University with a diploma in political economy (graduation year 1989).

In 1989 — 1991 he started his career as an economist, then lead economist with Finance and Credit Department of Commercial Bank «Tver».
In 1991 — 1992 he served as lead specialist and chief specialist with Marketing & Development Department of the Tver Commercial Trade and Industrial Company Tvercommerce LTD.
In 1992 — 1996 his successive positions were economist with Stock Department, chief economist with Securities Department, head of Liabilities Management Department, and CEO of TveruniversalBank St. Petersburg Branch.
In 1997 he joined Open-Type Joint Stock Society Commercial Bank BaltOnEximBank as Deputy Chairman of the Board, in which capacity he served until 1999.
In 1999 — 2001 he served as Chairman of the Board of Commercial Bank BaltOnExim Bank.
In 2002 he joined JSC ALROSA where he served until 2003 as First Vice-President, Economics and Finance.
In 2003 he joined OJSC Russian Railways, where he served as Vice-President until 2005.
In 2005 he was promoted to Senior Vice-President, Economics and Finance, of Russian Railways, in which capacity he served until 2009.

On July 15, 2009, Fyodor Andreev was appointed President (CEO) of ALROSA.


Alexander Chaadaev

Alexander Chaadaev holds the position of Director, YakutNiproAlmaz Institute.
Mr. Aleksandr S. Chaadaev was born in Yakutsk, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), on September 8, 1960.
He is a graduate of the Tumen Construction Engineering Institute (graduation year 1982) with a diploma in «Industrial & Civil Construction Engineering» and qualifications as construction engineer, and of the Finance Academy under the RF Government with a diploma in «Finance & Credit» (graduation year 2001).

In 1985 — 1998 he held different positions with the PNO Yakutalmaz and ALROSA Udachny Mining & Processing Division — senior mechanical engineer and deputy head, production department, and chief engineer of the Jubilee Alluvial Mine Management.

In 1998 — 2007 he joined the ALROSA Capital Construction Division with which he consecutively held the positions of Deputy Director, Economics, then Chief Engineer, and Director.

In 2007 he was appointed Director of the ALROSA YakutNiproAlmaz Research and Design Institute.
Alexander Chaadaev is Candidate of Economics.

He is a holder of the honorary title «Honored Builder of the Russian Federation» (1996), honorary diploma of the President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (2002), honorary badge «Builders’ Glory» (2006).


Ivan Demyanov

Ivan Demyanov currently holds the position of ALROSA’s Vice-President.

Ivan Demyanov was born on June 5, 1942 in the Village of Ilovka of the Alexeevsky District in the Belgorod Region. In 1982, he graduated from the Khabarovsk Higher Party School.

Professional experience:

1961 - 1964 - military service
1964 - 1976 - driver, Chief of the Motor Transport Unit, Chief of the Utility Vehicles Unit, Deputy Chief Engineer (Production) of the Motor Transport Park of the Mirny City (Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic).
1976 - 1980 – Secretary of the Communist Party Committee at the Almazdortrans Motor Transport Park.
1980 - 1982 – Secretary of the Communist Party Committee at the Mirny Mine.
Since 1995 up to now - ALROSA’s Vice President.

Ivan Demyanov is a member of the Supervisory Board of ALROSA Co. Ltd.
Ivan Demyanov has been decorated with the Order of Friendship (2007).
He is an Honorary Citizen of Mirny and Honorary Citizen of the Republic of Sakha.


Yuri Doinikov

Yuri Doinikov currently holds the position of the First Vice President – Executive Director of AK ALROSA.

Yuri Doinikov was born on September 27, 1955 in the Town of Dymok of the Nyurbinsky District in the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
He started his labour activity relatively early - from 1972 he worked as a fitter’s apprentice, then as a motor electrician at the Aikhal placer of the Udachny Mine. After the military service he returned to the mine and became shovel runner assistant at the Udachny Open-Cast Mine.
In 1981, he graduated from the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute majoring in ‘Technology and Comprehensive Mechanization of Open Mineral Deposits’. Qualification: mining engineer. Later on he graduated from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation majoring in ‘Economy Management’.
In 1982 to 1986 he worked as an explosive boring site overman, blasting operations supervisor, overman of an allotment at the Udachny Open-Cast Mine being part of the Udachny Integrated Mining and Processing Complex of Yakutalmaz Association.
Since 1986 he held the positions of Chief Engineer, head of the Capital Mining Operations Department of the Aikhal Building and Assembly Group, Head of the Yubileiny Open-Cast Mine of the Aikhal Integrated Mining and Processing Complex of ALROSA Co. Ltd., Deputy Director (Production) of the Aikhal Integrated Mining and Processing Complex.
In February 2000 he was appointed Director of the Aikhal Integrated Mining and Processing Complex.
Since 2002 - Director of the Mirny Integrated Mining and Processing Complex.
Since March 1, 2007 – First Vice-President – Executive Director of ALROSA Co. Ltd.
Member of the State Assembly (Il Tumen) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Honored Miner of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), in 2006 Yuri Doinikov was awarded the Russian Federation Government Prize in the field of science and technology for development and implementation of nontraditional high-performance methods in developing diamond deposits of Yakutia.


Vasily Grabtsevitch

Vasily Borisovitch Grabtsevitch currently holds the position of ALROSA’s Vice-President.

Vasily Grabtsevitch is charged with supervision of interaction of AK ALROSA with governmental authorities of Russia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) as well as oversee licensing activity of AK ALROSA.
Vasily Grabtsevitch was born on May 9, 1950 in the Village of Nedoyka of Buda-Koshelevsky District of the Gomel Region. In 1972 he graduated from the Tomsk Construction Engineering Institute having got qualification as civil engineer. In 1998 he graduated from the Academy of national economy under the Government of Russian Federation as Manager of highest category.

Professional experience:

1976 – 1998 – started his career at Viliuygesstroy division of Yakutalmaz as senior engineer, transferred to the chief of technical inspection, worked as the senior engineer at construction department of Viliuygesstroy, deputy head of construction department of Mirnyenergopromstroy, deputy manager, senior engineer of Mirninsky construction-erection group of Department of capital construction AK ALROSA. In 1986 – 1990 he was involved in energy objects construction in Cuba Republic.
1998 – 2002 – held the position of First Deputy Head of Administration of Mirninsky District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
2002 - 2007 - worked as Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
2007 - 2009 - served as the First Deputy Chairman at the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).


Igor Kulichik

Igor Kulichik currently holds the position of ALROSA’s Vice-President and Financial Director.

gor Kulichik was born on April 5, 1967 in Brest. He graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute named after S. Ordzhonikidze with a diploma of Mechanical Engineer (1990), and from the Air Force Engineering Academy named after N. Zhukovsky (1992) with a diploma of Engineer-Mathematician.

Professional experience:

1992 - Junior Research Assistant, the Civil Defense Institute under the Ministry of Emergencies of the Russian Federation.
1992-1996 – Economist, Interbank Payments Department; Head, Bank Resources Division; Head, Treasury; Deputy CEO, Tveruniversalbank.
1996-1998 – Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Reserve Funds Corporation Bank (BKRF).
1998- 2002 – CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Reserve Funds Corporation Bank (BKRF).
2002- 2006 – Head of Treasury, ALROSA Co. Ltd.
2006 - 2009 – Chief Treasurer – Financial Director, ALROSA Co. Ltd.
Since 10th August 2009 - ALROSA’s Vice President and Financial Director.

Igor Kulichik is responsible for supervising the company’s financial policies, ALROSA’s African projects, and operations of ALROSA’s subsidiaries and affiliates.
Igor Kulichik is a member of the Board of MAK-Bank LLC registered in the City of Mirny.


Alexander Makhrachev

Alexander Makhrachev currently holds the position of Director at Udachny Mining & Processing Division of ALROSA Co. Ltd.
Mr. Aleksandr F. Mahrachev was born on the Aleisk state farm, the Aleisk District of the Altai Region, on October 31, 1956.

He is a graduate of the Moscow Steel & Alloys Institute (graduation year 1979) where he qualified as metallurgical engineer. In 1996 he took a refresher training course under the program «General management of a mining enterprise in free market conditions» in the Academy of National Economy under the RF Government. In 2007 he received his second higher education with the Moscow State Mining University qualifying as mining engineer.

In 1979 — 1997 he started his career with the Udachny Mining & Processing Division of PNO Yakutalmaz and ALROSA as a mechanical engineer, section foreman, process engineer and head process engineer of the Division.

In 1997 — 2005 he held the positions of Deputy Chief Metallurgist, and Chief metallurgist of ALROSA.

In 2005 he was appointed ALROSA Deputy Executive Director for Production.

From 2008 г. he has held the position of Director, ALROSA Udachny Mining & Processing Division.

He is a holder of the Honorary title «Honored Metallurgist of the Russian Federation» and an honorary diploma of ALROSA. In 1999 he was awarded with the RF Government Prize in the field of science and technology.


Dmitry Mostovov

Dmitry Mostovov holds the position of Director at Mirny Mining & Processing Division of AK ALROSA.
Mr. Dmitriy V. Mostovov was born on October 31, 1956, in Yuzhny, the Nagabaisky Region of the Chelyabinsk Region.
He is a graduate of the Magnitogorsk Mining & Metallurgical Institute (graduation year 1982) with a diploma in «Methods and integrated mechanization of surface mining».

In 1982–2000 he held different positions with the Udachny Mining and Processing Division, first as road maker, mine foreman, deputy head of the Udachnaya open pit mine, and head of drill site.

In 2000 he was appointed chief engineer of the Jubilee open-pit mine within the structure of the ALROSA Aikhal Mining & Processing Division, later head of the Jubilee open pit mine, and deputy head for production of the Komsomolsky open pit mine.

In 2006 he was reassigned to the Mirny Mining & Processing Division where he held the positions of deputy chief engineer responsible for underground mine construction, and deputy Division Director, Production.
Effective from September 1, 2007, he was appointed Director, the Mirny Mining & Processing Division of ALROSA.


Yuri Okoyomov

Yuri Okoyomov currently holds the position of ALROSA’s Vice-President.

Yuri Okoyomov was born on the 1st of January 1962 in the Village of Kazachye of the Verkhoyansk Region in the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. In 1979, he graduated from the Physical and Mathematical School located in the Verkhnevilyuisk Township of the Yakut Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1985, Yuri Okoyomov graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys with a degree in Physics of Metals. In 1996, he got a diploma of Top Grade Manager at the Academy of National Economy under the Russian Federation Government.

Professional experience

1985 – 1992 – Apprentice and Researcher, the Institute of Physical and Technical Problems of the North at the Yakutian Branch of the Siberian Division of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
1992 – Specialist, Lead Specialist, Diamond Tooling Department of AK Tuymaada Diamond.
1992 - 1993 – Head of Single-Crystal Tooling Division, Technical Director of AK Sakha Diamond.
1993 - 2000 – First Deputy Director, CEO of Yakut Enterprise for Diamond Trade of ALROSA
2000 - 2009 – CEO of United Selling Organization of ALROSA
Since 6th August 2009 - Vice-President, ALROSA Co. Ltd.
Yuri Okoyomov is responsible for supervising the company’s marketing and sales.


Andrey Pismenny

Andrey Pismenny currently holds the position of ALROSA’s Chief Engineer
Mr. Andrey Pismenny was born in Nizhny Tagil on February 8, 1960.
He is a graduate of the G.V. Plekhanov Leningrad Mining Institute (1982) where he majored in “Construction of Underground Structures and Mines”, and Irkutsk State Technical University (2005) where he majored in “Underground Mining of Mineral Deposits”. He is a qualified civil engineer and mining engineer.

In 1980 - 1981 Andrey Pismenny was an apprentice mine shaft sinker and, later, a mine shaft sinker with the Gorlovka Mine Construction Division. In 1982 – 1992 he worked as a shift foreman and in 1992 – 1997 as the supervising foreman of the  skip shaft and chief engineer of the management department of the Norilsk Specialized Mine Construction Division within the structure of the Shakhtspetsstroy Specialized Mine Construction Trust.

In 1997 Andrey Pismenny joined ALROSA. During his first two years with the Company he held the positions of deputy chief engineer for specialized works with the Mirny Specialized Mine Construction Division, and chief engineer of the International Underground Mine of the Mirny Mining & Processing Division.

In 1999 – 2001 he held the position of the head of the Mirny Specialised Mine Construction Division and in 2001 – 2003 of the managing director of the Mirny Specialised Mine Construction Trust.

In June 2003 he was appointed chief engineer of the Mirny Mining & Processing Division.

In 2007 – 2010 he held the position of chief engineer – first deputy director of Yakutniproalmaz, the ALROSA research and design division.

In December 2010 he was appointed Chief Engineer of ALROSA.
Andrey Pismenny is the holder of the honorary title of “Honored Miner of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)” (awarded in 2007).

Sergey Pushkin

Sergey Pushkin at present holds the position of Vice-President at AK ALROSA.

Mr. Sergey N. Pushkin was born in 1967.

He is a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (Aerodynamics & Flying Engineering Department) (graduation year 1990), and of the N. Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy (Aircraft and Engines Department) (graduation year 1992).

Effective from January 25, 2010 – Vice President, ALROSA.
As Vice-President of ALROSA Sergey Pushkin supervises operations of ALROSA subsidiaries and affiliates, and ALROSA African projects.

Ravil Sanatulov

Ravil Sanatulov at present holds the position of Director, the Aikhal Mining & Processing Division of AK ALROSA.

Mr. Ravil Sh. Sanatulov was born in Chulman, the Neryungri District, Yakutia, on May 22, 1963.

In 1986 he qualified as mining engineer with the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute with a diploma in «Methods and integrated mechanization of mineral development».

In 1986 he held different positions with PNO «Yakutalmaz», later ALROSA, as mining machinery maintenance engineer, the Irelyakh open pit mine of the Mirny Mine; head of dredge, chief engineer of the Irelyakh open pit mine; head of the Irelyakh alluvial mine within the structure of the Mirny Mining & Processing Division.

In 2007 he was appointed Director, the Aikhal Mining & Processing Division of ALROSA.

Valery Serov

Valery Serov holds the position of Chief Geologist at AK ALROSA.

Valery P. Serov was born in Kalush, the Ivano-Frankovsk Region of Ukraine, on July 18, 1957.

He is a graduate of the Moscow Geological Exploration Institute (graduation year 1980) where he majored in geological surveying, mineral prospecting and exploration.

In 1974 – 1975 he began his career as collector with the Chief Geologist’s department of the Kalush chemical and metallurgical plant.

In 1980 – 1993 he held positions of geologist, senior geologist, chief geologist with the Upper-Alakit prospecting team within the structure of the Aikhal Exploration Expedition.

In 1993 – 1994 he served as Chief Geologist of the Jubilee open pit within the structure of the Aikhal Mining & Processing Division.

In 1994 he was reassigned as Chief Geologist to the Amakinskaya Exploration Expedition.

In February 2011 Valery Serov was appointed Chief Geologist of ALROSA.


Igor Sobolev

Igor Sobolev holds the position of First Vice-President - Executive Director at AK ARLOSA.

Mr. Igor V. Sobolev was born in Kimovsk, the Tula Region, on November 16, 1969.
He qualified as mining construction engineer with the Tula State Technological University (graduation year 1993) with a diploma in «Mine and underground construction».

In 1987 — 1992 he held different positions in the coal mining industry in Novomoskovsk, the Tula region.

In 1993 he joined the Norilsk Mining & Metallurgical Company as shot firer, and later being promoted to deputy chief engineer, Norilsk Mine Construction Division.

In 2000 he was appointed head of Capital Construction Division, Mining & Metallurgical directorate, OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel.

In 2007 he joined ALROSA where he has held the position of Director, ALROSA Capital Construction Division (till 2012 before the current appointment).


Elena Timonina

Elena Timonina holds the position of Chief Accountant at AK ALROSA.

Elena L. Timonina is a graduate of the economic department of the M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (graduation year 1983) where she qualified as an economist.

In 1993 — 1994 she held the position of deputy chief accountant with JSFC Sistema.

In 1994 she joined Arthur Andersen International B.V. as chief expert of Accounting Services department, in which position she served until 2002.
In 2002 — 2011 she served as a manager with Accounting Services department of Ernst & Young (CIS) B.V. (Moscow).
Elena Timonina is a member of the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia (IPAR) (from 1998), member of the Audit Chamber of Russia (from 2010).


Vladimir Tkachenko

Vladimir Tkachenko has been Vice President of ALROSA Co. Ltd. since July 1, 2008.
Vladimir Tkachenko was born on January 1, 1956 in the Town of Oulyanovka of the Bogodoukhovsky District of the Kharkov Region.
In 1980 he graduated from the Odessa Technical School of Metrology; in 1987, from the Moscow Plekhanov Institute of National Economy obtaining a qualification of Process Engineer, and in 2002, from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation (‘Business Economics and Business Management’).

From 1980 till 1993 he held various positions – from prospecting shaft miner up to the head of a mechanical repair shop – in the Yakutsk Geological Survey Department.

1993 - 1997 – Head of the Auxiliary Production & Procurement Department of the Aikhalsky Building and Erection Group incorporated by ALROSA Co. Ltd.

1997 - 2002 - Head of the Mirny Division of the Procurement Department of ALROSA Co. Ltd., Deputy Director of the Procurement Department of ALROSA Co. Ltd.

2002 - 2007 - Director of the Procurement Department of ALROSA Co. Ltd.

2002 - 2007 - Director of ALROSA Hotels subsidiary.

On July 1, 2008 he was appointed Vice President of ALROSA Co. Ltd.
Vladimir Tkachenko holds the title of Honoured Worker of National Economy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).


Leonid Tolpezhnikov

Leonid Tolpezhnikov holds the position of Head of Analytical Department at AK ALROSA.

Leonid F. Tolpezhnikov was born in Drezna, the Orekhovo-Zuyevo district of the Moscow Region, on November 19, 1960.

He is a graduate of the N. E. Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School (graduation year 1983) where he received education in aerospace engineering and qualified as a mechanical engineer.

In 1983 – 1989 he held his first job as a design engineer with NPO Energia.

In 1989 – 1993 he served as senior engineer, engineer, lead engineer, deputy head of a section within the structure of the Committee for Precious Metals and Gems of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

In 1993 he joined the joint stock company “Almazy Rossii – Sakha” as deputy director of its Diamond Center.

In 1994 – 2000 he held the position of director of the Analytical Center of ALROSA.

In 2000 he left ALROSA for the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation where he served until 2004 in the position of head of the Precious Metals and Gems Department.

In 2004 – 2010 he served as deputy director of the Administrative Department within the structure of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

In August 2010 Leonid Tolpezhnikov was appointed head of the Analytical Department of ALROSA.


Igor Uvarov

Igor Uvarov holds the position of Director of Nyurba Mining and Processing Division at AK ALROSA.

Mr. Igor Uvarov was born on July 24, 1966 in Almalyk, Tashkent region.

Mr. Uvarov is a graduate of the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute (1991), the Saint Petersburg Institute of accelerated learning for top executives (2004), the Irkutsk State Technical University (2010), with Diplomas in Mining and Economic Management. Mr. Uvarov’s recent positions are:

1981 – 1984 – worker in Geochemical Group, PO “Yakutskgeologiya”, apprentice electrician, NPO “Sibtsvetmetalavtomatika”. 1989 - 1991 – assistant shovelman, the Aikhal Mining and Processing Division.

1991 – 2001 – mine foreman, the Jubilee open-pit mine, the Aikhal Mining and Processing Division.

2001 – 2007 – chief engineer, the Jubilee and Komsomolskaya open-pit mines, the Aikhal Mining and Processing Division.

In 2007 Mr. Uvarov was appointed head of the Jubilee open-pit mine.

2008 – 2010 – deputy executive director for production, ALROSA, deputy chief engineer, ALROSA.

2010 – 2011 – deputy chief engineer for production, ALROSA.

In May 2011 Mr. Uvarov was appointed director, the Nyurba Mining and Processing Division.


Dmitry Voyan

Dmitry Voyan holds the position of Head of Strategic Planning and Budgeting Department at AK ALROSA.

Mr. Dmitry Voyan was born on July 2, 1961 in Skovorodino, Amur region.

Mr. Voyan is a graduate of the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Soviet Trade, the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a Diploma in Economy. Ph.D. in Economics.

1980 – 1982 – worker, Ordzhonikidze Baltic Factory (Leningrad), military service in the Soviet Army.

1989 – 1996 – head, Economic Planning Division, “Vostoktekhmontazh” Mirny Administration, “Montazhspetsstroy” corporation, deputy general director for finance and investments economy, chief accountant, OJSC “Vostoktekhmontazh” (Mirny). 1996 – 1998 – financial director, OJSC “Vostoktekhmontazh”.

1998 – 2003 – deputy managing director for economy, “Almaztekhmontazh” Trust, Capital Construction Division, ALROSA, deputy head of labor and salary, ALROSA.

2003 – 2011 – head of Economic Planning Department, ALROSA.

In April 2011 Mr. Voyan was appointed head of Strategic Planning and Budgeting Department, ALROSA.
